Thai Yoga Bodywork
Traditional Thai Yoga Bodywork is a dynamic blend of deeply relaxing massage techniques and invigorating passive yoga stretches, connected to breath, producing excellent full body rejuvination. Going far beyond working out those tough knots, this technique also improves flexibility and range of motion and energy flow with a focus on breath to bring the whole you into balance.
I practice the northern style Thai Yoga Bodywork (Nuad Boran), on a large comfortable mat on the floor and clients wear loose comfortable clothing. This is a full body massage using targeted acupressure, stimulation, manipulation of energy pathways called sen lines, and assisted yoga postures to clear energy blockages and relieve tension.
I utilize my thumbs, palms, forearms, elbows, knees, and feet to massage. While joints, muscles, and tendons are gently mobilized and stretched, we access the power of deep and balanced breathing. The overall effect is one of deep relaxation, rejuvenation, and physical and mental balance and harmony.
This type of bodywork is fluid and dynamic, producing excellent benefits for athletes and non athletes alike.
Sessions range between 90 minutes - 2.5 hours.
